Description
Boyden Evans was born in Gisborne in 1954 and grew up in Wainuiomata when it was a new town. He studied landscape architecture at Lincoln College and spent time with the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust. The QEII Trust published the Revegetation Manual as a guide to using New Zealand native plants. They took displays to field days and conferences to publicise their work and developed demonstration farms at Mossburn, Dannevirke and Port Waikato to promote conservation beside farming.
